Every lens that leaves EyeKraft goes through a multi-stage inspection. We check every lens, not a sample.
Checked from order to shipping
Checkpoints run through the whole job, from the moment your order enters our system to the moment it ships. We don’t spot-check; we inspect every lens.

Order verification
The prescription is checked against the original order before processing starts.
- 02
Material inspection
Lens blanks are checked for defects, the right material and the correct base curve before surfacing.
- 03
Lensometry
After surfacing, a digital lensometer confirms the power against ANSI standards.
- 04
Surface check
Visual and instrument inspection for scratches, coating defects and optical flaws.
- 05
Fit check
After edging, the lens-to-frame fit is checked for alignment, bevel placement and retention.
- 06
Final inspection
The finished job is reviewed against the original order before it’s packed and shipped.
Standards we work to
- ANSI Z80.1
- Lenses are verified against the ANSI Z80.1 dress ophthalmic standard for power, prism and optical center placement.
- ANSI Z87.1
- Safety eyewear is processed and tested to the ANSI Z87.1 impact and retention standard.
- Every lens
- Not statistical sampling. Every lens goes through the full process.
- Traceability
- Digital records for every job, so a question can be answered quickly.
